How to Fix a Faulty LCD Monitor

Most of the time it will be blown capacitors in the power supply. Symptoms include not turning on or turning on and then off after a few seconds. This is also the same for LCD TVs. The cost to replace these caps is a few pence or if you are like me you just look through your component scrap bin, then the only cost is 5 minutes of your time.
