Why Important to Learn the T-con Board Repair

I had received lots of email regarding this question:

1) How can I repair LCD or LED panel?
2) Is this screen problem can be repair?
3) How to repair the LCD Tv screen with full of vertical lines?
4) How to repair the LCD TV No Display problem? But it has sound and backlight lit.

And so on…

I even heard some Tv repairer said that the modern LCD & LED TV can’t be repair. Because of their timing control section was built inside the Panel! And other reason...

Honestly, not 100% true! Actually most of their timing control/t-con problem can be solved. But you MUST know these first:

1) Knowledge/repair information on How T-con Board/Timing Control work and how to troubleshoot it.

2) Tools to Repair it

3) Spare Parts

Some TV repairer said that “normally I just buy the T-con board to replace it and it is fast and easy to repair. So they say no need to troubleshoot or repair it.” After that I asked them “if their Timing Control section is not in T-con board, but in the LCD/LED Panel or Mainboard, does you just replace the Panel or Mainboard and not to troubleshoot or repair it?” Then they said “just told to the customer the TV is not worth to repair and return it back or told customer need to replace the expensive mainboard to repair their TV”.

All of these happened was because of them don’t know how to troubleshoot and repair it! So I’m highly recommended them to read my V3.0 & V4.0 ebooks to increase their knowledge in T-con or Timing Control repair. So no wonder the TV timing control section is in T-con board, Mainboard or LCD/LED panel, they know how to troubleshoot it! So the Knowledge/repairing information is most important.

To repair the LCD/LED panel, the common tools are just a rework station, magnifying, good soldering flux and some small tools only. In case you want to replace their COF or re-soldering their TAB, you must have the Bonding Machine to do it. This is an expensive tool to invest. In case you have huge quantity panel to repair, then I will recommend you to buy one. If not, then I will not suggest you to buy it.

For some loose contact in TAB issue or their circuit line is crack, without the Bonding Machine this type of problem also can be repaired too. With the Knowledge/repairing information in V3.0 & V4.0 ebooks and do more practical, I believe that you can reach this level to repair LCD/LED Panels for TV, Monitor & Laptop!

The spare parts to repair the LCD/LED Panel, besides the commonly electronic components (fuse, caps, diode, TR/MOSFET, IC), when you need to replace their COF, you need to know where to find these parts: COF, ACF tape & etc.
